Renaming Our Preschool

Preschool of the Arts has been renamed the “Jay and Patty Baker Preschool of the Arts” in honor of the Bakers' generous gift of $2 million to expand our campus with a new building. Renowned philanthropists, Jay and Patty Baker are longtime supporters of education and the arts both nationally and locally in our home community of Naples, Florida. Through their forward-thinking gift, they are enabling Chabad of Naples and Preschool of the Arts to significantly expand programming opportunities to welcome hundreds more children through our doors.

As Ettie Zaklos, the founder and director of Preschool of the Arts shares, “Jay and Patty Baker’s generosity has been transformative and deserves the highest recognition we can give. We are delighted that they will allow us to name our preschool in celebration of their impact on our early childhood center and the community. The name will endure as an expression of our respect for their vision of investing in education and arts for the next generation.”

SUCCESS!! $2,000,000 MATCHING CHALLENGE GRANT UNLOCKED!

Jay and Patty Baker challenged us to raise $2 million of our $7.5 million goal and committed to generously match every dollar donated up to $2 million. Thanks to our incredible community, we successfully reached this milestone in December 2022, bringing us to over $4 million raised to date!
